RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and guide platform engineers, encouraging best practices in Azure administration, development, and DevOps processes
Engineer and optimize hybrid Azure Platform solutions, focusing on but not limited to compute, network, storage, monitoring, security and automation
Collaborate with Azure Platform engineers, architects, and other stakeholders in the implementation of an Azure Enterprise Scale Landing Zone platform
Provide expertise in IT operations areas, such as networking, virtualization, identity, security, and governance, ensuring these areas align with the overall Azure Platform strategy
Participate in Project related activities to meet operational needs
To ensure knowledge articles of all supported systems are continually updated
To provide a high level of customer service, whilst working under pressure
To follow and adhere to established Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management procedures
REQUIERMENTS
5 plus years’ experience in designing, developing, and implementing cloud and hybrid Azure Platform solutions
Can demonstrate deep knowledge in setting up Azure Enterprise Scale Landing Zones and hands-on experience with Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework
Prior experience in roles such as Azure administration, development, or Azure-focused DevOps
Proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Entra administration, from PAM to PIM
Previous experience leading and mentoring Cloud teams/Communities of Practice
Proven leadership skills, and capable of building and managing technical teams/communities of practice
Familiarity with Azure cloud native components
5 years’ demonstrable experience with CI/CD pipelines
Proficiency in agile methodologies and CI/CD principles and practices
Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Azure DevOps, and GitLab
Adept at collaborating in diverse teams, with excellent communication skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
8 years’ hands-on experience with Windows/Linux Servers – nice to have
Proficiency using the Microsoft Graph API and the Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL) – nice to have
Proactive incident management with Azure-based troubleshooting – nice to have
Sound understanding of financial markets- nice to have
Relevant Professional qualifications
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related STEM degree
