Responsibilities
The Senior Instrumentation and Control Engineer shall be requested to carry out design activities that are usually carried out as part of the OIL & GAS Industry (such as gathering system, Gas Oil Separation Plant) and relevant utilities systems
The engineer shall be independent in designing field instrumentation and field instrumentation cabling (cable layout definition, cable wiring and cable scheduling), sizing control and safety valves, preparing specification for process control and automation devices (DCS, ESD system, F&G system etc.) and shall be able to technically evaluate vendor offer
The engineer shall also be able to read P&ID diagrams to compile instrument and I/O lists and review control loop and logic diagrams
Requirements
Minimum 2 years work in multicultural environments
Minimum 2 years work experience in instrumentation and control design
Good knowledge of English language
Good knowledge of the software used to carry out the sizing of instrumentation, control and safety valves
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Package

To prepare the I/O list
To review the Control Loop and Logic Diagrams
To design field instrumentation
To prepare instrumentation and control systems specification
To prepare instrumentation and control systems datasheets and sizing
To carry out technical evaluation of vendor offer related to instrumentation and control systems
To lead a team of instrumentation and control technicians (junior engineers, engineers and drafters) dedicated to a specific project
To interface with other member of the instrumentation and control department, other discipline leader and with Client representatives, when required
