RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting in reviewing, drafting, advising and negotiating on a diverse range of commercial contracts and legal documents (the level of responsibility/ autonomy depends on the candidate’s work experience and the task complexity)
  • Assisting in drafting and reviewing corporate documents, including board/shareholders meeting minutes/resolutions, Administrators decisions, POA’s etc. (the level of responsibility/ autonomy depends on the candidate’s work experience and the task complexity)
  • Liaising with external counsels for specialized legal support, overseeing the work of external Legal counsels and managing deadlines for the requests for legal services
  • Undertaking general corporate work (such as registration activity with the Trade Register, working points registration, obtaining documents from the Trade Register etc.)
  • Participating in corporate and other legal due diligence
  • Visiting and following up with various governmental authorities (including the notary public)
  • Court portal regular check
  • Checking and filling out the KYC forms (banks and other partners)
  • Filing documents for functioning permits and construction authorizations
  • Conducting legal researches and analysis, preparing presentations and consolidated reports, and preparing summaries on different legal matters
  • Organizing and maintaining contracts and legal documents retention and storage system
  • Dealing with day to day requests for legal services from the business units/departments
  • Working with management and operational team to resolve legal issues related to different legal aspects of operational activity
  • Monitoring legal changes within the industry and implementing necessary changes

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law
  • Knowledge of the laws that apply to retail, fast-food business is a plus, but not necessarily
  • 1 to 4 years of relevant experience handling at least corporate and contractual matters
  • Fluency in English (speaking, reading and writing)
  • Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
  • Well established organizational, multitasking and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment
  • Results and deadline oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Power Point, Word and Excel
