Responsibilities
- Design of reinforced concrete foundations (thinking/choosing the technical solution; calculation reports and execution drawings)
- Design of steel structures as pipe racks, platforms, walkways, pumps houses, guard houses, etc (thinking/choosing the technical solution; calculation reports and execution drawings)
- Achievement and preparation of bill of quantities and material take off
- To prepare drawings with AutoCAD (such as civil works layout, retaining structures, related road works design, drainage layout, etc)
- Preparation of technical reports and assessment reports
- Any other technical or project related activities assigned by the civil department Leader
- Project team coordination and training of engineers and junior engineers
- Subcontractor teams coordination
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in structural concrete and steel design from which minimum 3 years the Oil & Gas industry
- Computer qualifications (good to excellent knowledge of SAP2000 and/or STAAD.PRO; AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Package)
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to convey and handle information
- English Language skills- very good to excellent
Desirable qualifiactions
- Minimum 2 years work in multicultural environments
- Computer qualifications of Tekla Structures and Ideastatica Steel Connections
- Capacity to interface with other member of the in civil department and occasionally with Client representatives, if required
- Valid driver’s license
