Responsibilities
Governance: Be able to develop and maintain information security policies and procedures as the core of an ISMS
Risk Management: Be able to coordinate gap analysis, information security assessments and risk assessments and derive actionable measures
Compliance: Advise on best practices, standards and frameworks depending on the industry and client needs; be up to date with the legislative local and international landscape in terms of new or updated information security/cyber security laws and regulations and be able to respond to queries about compliance with these
Awareness: be able to design an information security awareness program including but not limited to phishing and training campaigns, situations awareness, physical security, etc.
Coordinate documenting results upon cyber security posture assessments, vulnerability assessments
Monitor and validate the implementation of the required security measures and technologies in the relevant projects/clients
Recommend tools/technologies and processes that would improve cyber security effectiveness and efficiency be able to define or if already in place, report GRC KPIs
Support security strategies tailored to customers business requirements and their timely implementation
Requirements
5+ years of experience in the fields of information security, cyber security, IT/OT
Very good working knowledge of security practices and frameworks such as ISO27001 (and the series related to privacy and cloud), NIST SP-800 series, COBIT, ITIL, risk management
Good understanding of IT infrastructure and applications landscape
Certifications: ISO27001 Lead Auditor or Implementor, CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CISA are desirable
Excellent German (verbal and written) language skills; English as a second language is appreciated
Very good communication and organizational skills
Ability to express ideas clearly, concisely, logically, and persuasively both verbally and in writing

SQL Server Database Engineer

The SQL Server Database Engineer will provide production and development support for the company’s database applications; this includes designing, developing and implementing database systems with advanced automation tools in accordance with industry best practices
The SQL Server Database Engineer will design and document strategies for backup and recovery, performance analysis, database clustering, and data management
The SQL Server Database Engineer will also be responsible for database connectivity using ODBC, JDBC or vendor specific architectures, provide user and developer assistance, and also be a point of escalation for first line support
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain database build standards including security to industry standards, patching and high availability
Monitor and manage database resources to ensure optimum performance
Document and manage database server procedures such as backup and restore, upgrades and disaster recovery procedures
Undertake maintenance and upgrades, generally out of normal business hours including weekends
Provide database design support to development projects
Performance tuning and diagnostics
Review database application code and advise accordingly
Manage and maintain the source code control system for the database objects
Assist Windows administrators as necessary to support applications that use the databases
Participate in the support shift cover 8am to 6pm and be available for on-call service – shift cover will mean that you perform tasks that may be outside of the normal responsibilities
Develop and maintain a strategy for database management to include both manual procedures/spot checks and automated alerts
Assist IT Security in maintaining an appropriate database security policy
Evaluate and implement applications to ‘police’ adherence to policy
